Founded in San Francisco, CA in 1987, Spitfire Wheels are the #1 wheel in skateboarding. Known for high-quality urethane, a world-class team, and their dedication to supporting local skate scenes and communities globally. This season, Vans Skateboarding reunites with Spitfire to deliver a fresh collection inspired by unforgettable skate trips with the crew.
With Spitfire Wheels’ history of pushing progression, it’s no wonder that they wanted to offer their unique twist on Rowan Zorilla’s second signature skate shoe, the Rowan 2. With a refined shape inspired by vintage court shoes, an upgraded feel with more underfoot protection, and ImpactWaffle technology-Vans Skateboarding’s most impact-cushioning outsole design yet-the Rowan 2 X Spitfire lets you turn even your best performance up a notch. Add in durable Ripstop, water-repellent coating, and sustainability-conscious materials in Spitfire’s iconic black and orange colorway, and the Rowan 2 makes an impact anywhere you go.
The Rowan 2 qualifies for Vans’ VR3 Checkerboard Globe Logo. The Vans VR3 designation follows strict material guidelines with one or a combination of regenerative, responsibly sourced renewable, and recycled materials making up at least 30% of the product.
- Vans X Spitfire Wheels Collection
- NEXT LEVEL IMPACT PROTECTION - Blending sustainability with performance, the Rowan 2 outsole is made of SickStick™ rubber combined with a dual-density VR3Cush™ midsole construction with a zonal ImpactWaffle™ design that focuses on additional impact support while maintaining boardfeel.
- RECYCLED SOCKLINER - Additional comfort has been added on top of a molded midsole made of 98% recycled materials.
- REFINED FIT - An underfoot contour offers additional comfort while improving performance, combined with our tongue-centering straps for a locked-in fit.
- UNRIVALED DURABILITY - This easy-to-wear, vintage court-inspired skate shoe has visible DURACAP™ suede panels reinforced with recycled rubber for added durability and color pop, and molded eyelets for lace protection.
